We only have 9 years left to prevent irreversible damage from climate change, if we’re lucky! 🤯We have seen about a 2.42-degree increase in temperature from the late 19th century, which might not seem like a lot, but it only takes 5–10 degrees to cause a mass extinction.

Most of us have already seen some of the effects of climate change, such as a rise in overall temperature or an increase in seasonal wildfires. Despite this, very few people are actually taking action to try and stop the progression of global warming, and some still don’t believe it is happening!

In this multiple-part series, I will investigate the potential effects of climate change and global warming, and how they will affect us all. Now is the time to think about our future!
